It wouldn’t be a shock if FromSoftware decided to release a sequel after its most successful game, but the studio recently confirmed Elden Ring 2 Not currently in progress. Instead, the company behind the open-world role-playing game is developing other projects. I hope one of them yes Armored Core VII.

It’s unclear how a possible acquisition that would give the PlayStation 5 maker a majority stake in FromSoftware would affect its future plans. My guess is that platform holders will be wary of anything that might disrupt the creativity and development process of what is currently one of the top gaming studios in the world.
