F’s trailerProtest Four: Step One It debuted yesterday, causing a lot of chat and excitement: People are looking forward to this more than any MCU movie in recent memory. director Matt Shakman The retro sensitivity – fully displayed in wandavision first – is full of nostalgia, sticking to everyone’s supper, a super retro fantasy dance and crowd, right at the 1964 World Expo.
Pedro Pascal As Reed Richards/Mr. Excellent, Vanessa Kirby As Sue Storm Richards/Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Barach As Ben Green / Things Joseph Quinn Johnny Storm/Human Torch are both innocent of charm. John Markovic In the shadow of an unknown character and Kirby’s accurate glass drugs, the threat is prescribed, and July 25 will surely hover on my calendar.
But the trailer is not without controversy. Here is the beat list in Gripe-O-Vision.
Controversy #1: Does trailer poster AI emerge? The trailer itself encountered four well-received trailers, which were released as “Starting Day” quickly fixed as possibly created by AI. The biggest red flag is a storytelling three-finger.
But there is also a woman (mysterious arm sleeve) who doesn’t know how to use a dual mirror camera, another guy holding the camera on his face at an awkward angle, and many other anomalies like repeating faces.
The package was quickly obtained Marvel’s statement denies that they have used AI For posters…this may actually be true. Art experts believe this may be just a sloppy photo, with the biggest evidence being duplicate faces, also known as cloning tools.
Of course, the first thing everyone says is: “Why are they not just hiring Alex Ross? “He made a huge painting comic called Miracle in the early 60s. Well, the original Alex Ross’s painting costs $20,000, and Lord knew his commission What is the rate, so miracles are just frugality.
That is, these posters are generally middle. The “blur background” filter used on a child is also sloppy.
We all hate that the Internet picks everything into pieces in five minutes, and I hesitate to blame the actual working humans. From last year’s Galactus drone show and flying cars, Marvel Studios is putting a lot of effort into FF Revival, so we might see a lot of Spiffy Promos before the movie debuts. However, it is worth noting that Marvel has used AI before. The Thunderbolts poster released last fall also had some suspicious fingers, and the credits of the recognized secret intrusion caused by AI are unpleasant. Also, several of the recent MCU movies don’t look very good. Miracle, the world is watching.
Controversy #2: Why not stretch? When we see the power of Sue, Johnny and Ben Grimm, Pedro Pascal Limbs maintain normal length. As Slashfilm reports, elastic limbs tend to look weird in live action.
If you have the chance to witness the funny handwave Reed Richards (Alex Hyde-White) succumb to Roger Corman’s unreleased 1994 Fantastic Four movie or equally funny fantasy Mr. (ioan gruffuddd) dance scene “Fantastic Four: The Rise of Silver Surfers” (2007), you know, stretching is easy to be ridiculous in real people. Perhaps that’s why the MCUs turn to portray them. John Krasinski’s Reed Richards shows only his appearance in Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in “Doctor Strange in the Mad Multiverse” The most candid sign before, which gave them a horrifying twist as he broke him into human string cheese. The biggest difference between Ms. Marvel’s MCU and the comic “Powers” is also stretching: Iman Vellani’s live version reduces the original limb extension and “filled with damage” ability to support a more friendly Screen-friendly hard light structure.
As we may remember, Marvel’s Phase 5 has been controversial so far in VFX’s very short delivery times, especially in several Quantumanias located in Coleman-style. Maybe Reid’s stretching ability gets the time and care it takes to make them not seem stupid, which is a good idea.
Added: While I was chatting with a friend I was chatting with, I can tell you that the ladies I talk to are still 100% of the Pedro team.
#3: Who is John Malkovich playing? Most people think Malkovich will play Red Ghost, aka Ivan Kragoff, an early FF villain who formed a team of Super Apes and competed with observers for the moon. The quarrel with Super Apes will obviously be filled with emotions in this retro adventure mood. Frankly, I’ll compete in the local theater to see a movie called “Red Ghosts and Super Apes”.
While Red Ghost is clearly the character born by a character John Malkovich, J. Gonzo fixed another possibility:
While we need to admit that the Earth-X character is unlikely to turn, Fantastic Four: Step One may have some kind of switcheroo to bring FF to the current MCU. We will see it.
#4: Where are Easter eggs? The FF trailer is obviously full of Easter eggs and references, but I have a hard time finding a list of Easter eggs on the internet. Most of them are videos, but damn, I just want to read
Easter eggs are quoted in obscure comics. So pay tribute to Fay Watson on Games Radar for the best, most comically accurate list. Still, while everyone is happy to see Herbie in the trailer, no one notices the bizarre origins of the adorable robot: as a replacement for Johnny Stom in the 1978 cartoon. Although the legend is that Herbie (Humanoid Animal Experimental Robot Type B, integrated electronics) replaces the human torch, as children may try to set fire, the reality is more mundane. The Human Torch has been selected as another studio. Thank God, there was no internet in 1978 because can you imagine the storm of hell? Herbie has been fully integrated into the comics since then, but it’s nice to see him overcome the troubles of the new FF.
The runner-up was second in the Easter Egg Roll in Men’s Daily as he pointed to the Fantasy Four debuted in the Beatles’ debut on the Ed Sullivan show.
But my favorite egg: The Marvel Studios logo is based on the Cinerama Dome logo. This is a very specific aesthetic and it’s nice to see the MCU working on it.
(Okay, maybe the controversy about the last Easter egg is just my personal controversy, but I tried to find four because…the legal person is four years old, do you understand?)
Bonus: Four things I like:
Check out the previous version (but minus the unreleased Roger Coleman squad)
Kurt Busiek noted that Phil Sheldon from Marvels seems to be appearing in the poster, and despite his bad eyes, it would be cool if Sheldon Apepars in the movie looked at the camera.
I also really like this Michael Giacchino theme.

Last: Jack Kirby! Nuff said!
Between Superman and Fantastic Four: Step One, July looks fun in the theater.
