The famous philosopher Sir Misarot once said that if you don’t have buns, it’s difficult to indulge your desires, husband. It seems like the new mod for the Silent Hill 2 remake has taken that sentiment to heart and applied it to the game’s most charming character.
Yes, you can now be stalked and chased by the goofily sexy Pyramid Head, thanks to modder Loxoss’s decision to have the monster who keeps popping up to say hi to James Sunderland leave his clothes at home. Well, except for, you know, the giant triangular thing that adorned his buns, because apparently that’s always been there and I think it must have been a pain in the shower.

Their mod, “Naked Pyramid Head”, is very much one of those things in life that lives up to its name, so in fact If you are at work, or have children/cats nearby who could be harmed, I recommend that you do not click on this link.
Here’s the thing. Since I took a double take at this mod while checking out the Nexus this morning (for work, I swear), it actually gives Pyramid Head a surprisingly reasonable king of proportions (I’m no expert, but I’d say loxoss has Did) a great job keeping PH’s Johnson in the golden zone of manliness, for immersion I guess) and I couldn’t help but giggle. This is bum.
I, a professional journalist, was a little afraid of reporting on a naked Pyramid Head – no doubt consistent with his description on certain parts of the internet, which I know exists but is certainly not common – with cake. As Mixalot might say, this baby’s back is chalky. Maybe it’s just that that texture means his entire body looks like it’s hewn from marble.
Anyway, just to make sure I don’t get too deeply into the dirt, it looks like mods like this are a specialty of loxoss, who have also made other titles like Sunderland from SH2, Leon from Resident Evil 4 Remake, And Luke from Street Fighter 6 chooses to hang around as if they were assigned to do something after finishing their side job of posing for art students.
If you want a Pyramid Head mod that’s sure to give you the same feeling as the Nudity mod, it only took about five minutes for the monster to be created after the Silent Hill 2 remake was released last week. Replaced with Thomas the Tank Engine due to modifications.
