Peter Pan’s Neverland NightmareThe next film from the team behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey has received its first trailer, and it looks like a movie.
The thing about the public domain is that it’s almost guaranteed that once something gets into it, you’re going to see a horrific version of it. Why this is people’s first port of call, only they can say, but I know this fact of life to be true. Which is why, not long after everyone’s favorite honey-loving bear became public domain, someone decided to make Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, a completely mediocre movie that apparently exists purely because someone had to. . The sequel is actually set to be released sometime this year, but the next film after that, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare , already has a trailer.

You can check out the trailer below, which doesn’t exactly inspire confidence – why are weasels playing Pop Goes? Why did Peter Pan’s voice suddenly become deeper? Which one is Wendy? As the trailer’s description details, this Peter Pan film “follows Wendy Darling as she attempts to save her brother Michael from ‘the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.'” Along the way she Meet Tinker Bell, who, in this twisted version of the story, takes the heroine away, convinced it’s fairy dust. Director Scott Jeffery explains: “This is an extremely dark film for ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.’ It feels right to be dealing with the issue of child abduction. All of us in the Winnie-the-Pooh universe The movies will all feel different from the last one.
There’s currently no release date for the movie, just listed as coming soon, but considering how quickly they push these things out (the first Winnie the Pooh was only released last year), I’m sure you don’t know you won’t have to wait that long.
