It’s been fifteen years since Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman first brought Deadpool and Wolverine to the big screen X-Men: Origins – Wolverinethe two are delivering a proper buddy movie for the characters.
Reynolds and Jackman premiered their film at a New York premiere on Monday, and media outlets across the country watched the film’s full screening for the first time. The film is expected to gross more than $165 million domestically when it opens this weekend, which would mark the biggest R-rated opening of all time.
Directed by Reynolds’ frequent collaborator Sean Levy Deadpool and Wolverine and wrote the script with Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Zeb Wells. Emma Corrin stars as its villain, and some faces from Deadpool and Wolverine’s past also appear, including one who played Wolverine’s daughter Laura in “Wolverine” Dafne Keen. Logan (2017).
