The slime-filled alternative TV show is back! What better way to watch an NFL game than with your family’s favorite Nickelodeon characters?
In this interesting football twist, Nickelodeon Bikini Live NFL Wild Card Game will air on the CBS Television Network in conjunction with CBS Sports. Essentially, regular football games will be played in a family-friendly format courtesy of Nickelodeon, with a host of beloved characters providing fun commentary!
Football fans can still enjoy regular games, while the rest of the family will be able to enjoy Nickelodeon content throughout the broadcast; SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star will headline the main event, along with CBS Sports analyst Nate Burleson stage!
Bikini Bottom resident Dixieland pal Sandy Cheeks will also be helping to hold down the fort. After all, NFL games are Texans games, so of course the Texas Squirrels had to be there! Who wouldn’t want to have these friends around to keep them entertained when the game slows down?
Dora the Explorer will explain football rules and penalty kicks during the game. After all, she is best at explaining words and phrases that the audience doesn’t understand!
Other Paramount characters set to appear include Megatron and Optimus Prime Transformers OneArnold and Helga from Hey Arnold; cats and dogs from cats and dogs; Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow Sonic the Hedgehog 3; Loud family noisy house; little chef from Little Chef Show; Wanda and Cosmo from Pretty Weird Parents: A New Wishas well as Reptar, Chuckie and Tommy dwarf.
There’ll be an exciting character for everyone in the family, and even more beloved characters will make surprise appearances!
The game will take place on January 11 at 4:30 pm and will be streamed live on mobile devices via NFL+. The CBS Sports telecast is also available on Paramount+, the CBS Sports app and NFL digital properties!
