It’s been a while since Fallout: London last received a new patch, but Team FOLON has now provided an update explaining its work on Patch 1.02. Long story short, we drafted some extra help to help improve its performance, and you don’t have to wait too long to check out the fixes in the game.
If you haven’t seen it yet, Fallout: London is well worth checking out for its interesting take on post-apocalyptic British culture, and is a great Fallout game in its own right when it’s done the wrong way While gaming.

“For those of you eagerly awaiting news on the upcoming patch, we’re happy to report that it should be available on [London MCM] Comic-Con,” project manager Dean ‘Prilladog’ Carter wrote in a new post on the Fallout: London Discord server.
“We know we said it would happen soon, and yes, it took a little longer than expected, but for good reason – we brought in some external help to improve performance, facegen data and LOD, and spent a lot of time “It took a while to get them up to speed, but *wow* the difference,” he continued, “This update (and the accompanying video) will provide huge improvements, and we’re glad we delayed making sure all these enhancements are Included in one patch!
If you want a sneak peak at upcoming changes, the team has also provided a link to a Google spreadsheet that details what has been and is still being done.
Headlines include some changes to LOD clip volumes, which should help limit save file corruption issues for people visiting Islington or St Paul’s Cathedral, as well as some pre-combined regenerations that should “fix various random/repeated crashes” . There are also a ton of mission fixes, one of which should prevent you from not being able to find your calling card during “Lay of the Land,” which was one of the issues I had to fix during my Fallout: London review playthrough.
Gameplay tweaks are plentiful, too, including one that stops you from accidentally entering the Bank of England due to your Sleepwalker trait before you’ve discovered it, and one that lets you receive information about the pain you end up in at the Bank of England. The exact percentage is used at the start of the game. There are also a bunch of item and NPC tweaks, one of which means you can no longer eat Atkins robots just for being a cannibal. To be fair, they probably don’t taste very good.
MCM Comic Con in London, which the FOLON team will be attending, kicks off on October 25th, and if the modders stick to their current plans, you won’t have to wait too long for this patch to be released.
