Steve Markey will lead AMAV’s sales and marketing as vice president of North American sales and marketing.
In his new role, Markey will oversee sales and marketing initiatives and focus on expansion into the mass and specialty retail markets. The move reflects AMAV US’s commitment to expanding its presence in the U.S. market.
Markey previously served as Vice President of U.S. Sales for Wyncor, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hog Wild Toys, Vice President of Sales for Green Toys, Head of Global Sales for Crazy Aaron’s, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for PlanToys.
“Steve brings decades of experience and a deep understanding of the toy industry,” Asher Diamant and Ben Diamant, co-founders of Diamant Toys, the parent company of AMAV US, said in a joint statement. “His deep expertise will help streamline and expand our U.S. operations, drive efficiencies and lead strategic retail expansion, positioning us for immediate growth in this key market.”
AMAV and Diamant Toys produce a variety of toys on the market, including Icy Delights, Glow Pads, Ezee Beads and rock painting kits.
