The one thing you definitely don’t want to do on the Ark is poke a bear.
Especially if that bear has implants to enhance its powers and become the perfect killing machine.
If there’s one wild card in Season 2, it’s Kelly and her unpredictable “posthuman” status. Viewers were introduced to Kelly and her homicidal tendencies in Ark Season 1, and in Season 2, we learned that the root of Kelly’s violent tendencies was her implants.
Her mother turned her into a controllable killing machine. Yet every new piece of information about the experiments conducted on Kelly reveals her humanity.
She was willing to sacrifice her life many times to prevent herself from harming others.
Her path seems to have reached a fork in the road, and she may have to decide between hunting down her mother or choosing a peaceful, non-violent life.
Still, Kelly remains a ticking time bomb, and it looks like William Trust (Paul Leonard Murray) has found the detonator.
What’s more, maybe technology doesn’t belong to those who are cynical, sarcastic, and responsible for creating deadly diseases. I’m just saying that.
In Syfy’s exclusive clip for Ark Season 2 Episode 7, we see that some things are best left unchanged. Check out the clip below!
So, as we see, even though William Trust wanted everyone to think he was the genius he thought he was, even smart people can do stupid things.
And poor Eva (Tiana Upcheva). Hasn’t she been through enough? First, her brother dies in space, then she must cover up the traces of her own shady past.
However, I mentioned in my review of Ark Season 2 Episode 6 that something similar could happen.
Staff had forgotten about Kelly, although another cat left Kelly with a device that controlled her implant.
This seems like a bad plan to me.
That said, Captain Garnett (Christy Burke) and the rest of Ark One will now be paying attention.
In the previous episode, Kelly asked Dr. Marsh about removing the implants. The good doctor explained that such an operation was impossible.
Well, necessity is the mother of invention, and Kelly (Samantha Glassner) is now one of those.
Not to mention, she broke the keypad in her room/cell and the Ark didn’t have room to spare. They just finished repurposing an entire section of another Ark.
Ark Season 2 Episode 7 looks like it will feature an internal drama. Loyalties may be tested and lines may be drawn. Either way, this is going to be an intense episode.
TV Fanatic will be there recapping the entire world’s journey!
How do you think Captain Garnett would handle this situation?
What do you think will happen to Kelly and Trust?
