Nearly three decades after the release of “Cinderella,” which starred Paul Montalban as Prince Charming and Brandy as Cinderella, the pair are reprising their roles in Disney+’s “Descendants: Red Rises,” which The show is now streaming on Disney+. Not a Disney+ subscriber yet? Don’t worry, the movie will premiere on Disney Channel on August 9 at 8pm ET.
Descendants: Red Rising tells the story of the next generation of heroes and villains at Auradon Prep, where the evil Queen of Hearts hatches her plans for domination. Only her daughter Rhett, with the help of King Charming and Cinderella’s daughter Chloe, can stop her.
I caught up with Paul Montalban to celebrate the film’s release on Disney Channel and chat about what it’s like returning to his iconic role.
