Big news has just come out regarding the future of the Evolution Championship Series (Evo). General Manager Rick Thiher was on stage to announce several new locations for upcoming events. These include events in Los Angeles in February 2025, where the recently announced Evo Awards will be held, and in Nice, France, in October.
Not only that, Evo will land in Singapore in 2026, the specific month has not yet been determined. In many ways, this is a return to the past. Evo was not only held in California in the early days, when it was called Battle by the Bay, but in recent years various Road to Evo events have also been held in various European countries.

Last year, Thiher spoke with VG247 about the event and his intentions to grow it broadly. This appears to be the crown jewel of the effort, expanding the Evo brand into various championships around the world.
