Bob tries again to cook the perfect turkey. This time it involved three days of salt water. However, a few days before Thanksgiving, Bob and his family woke up to find a turkey in the toilet. Bob replaced it and it was there again the next day. What’s going on?
While the toilet turkey mystery was fun, and did have a very funny and sweet explanation, the real reason this episode was so high-profile is because it captured the mood of the chaotic Thanksgiving week. A family member (in this case Gail) arrives and causes problems, the kids want to sit at the adults table and try to cook a large turkey perfectly.
Oh, it also includes one of the best parts Bob’s Burgersinvolves a deli counter employee who believes Bob’s return visit to get more replacement turkeys is actually an attempt to lure him into a romantic affair. Not only is this the best Thanksgiving episode of the show, but it may be a contender for best episode of the entire series. So revisit and enjoy this Thanksgiving.
