The Ethical Supply Chain Program (ESCP) and the Toy Association are working together.
In order to expand purchasing opportunities and social responsibility in the United States, the Toy Association welcomes up to 250 members to become ESCP members for free.
To qualify for pilot program membership and opportunity, companies must have annual revenue of $50 million or less. Members of the program will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the ESCP program, including the Connect Platform, which enables direct communication with ESCP-certified manufacturers. Membership also allows small and medium-sized companies to access detailed information about each certified manufacturer, including audit history, location and manufacturing capabilities. ESCP’s on-site factory team will also provide support.
By partnering with ESCP, we have direct access to certified manufacturing sources around the world, while helping our members increase purchasing opportunities by giving consumers confidence that the toys they purchase are ethically produced.
“Knowing who is making your products and ensuring they are operating responsibly is critical to conducting business ethically and meeting the needs of consumers, investors and regulators,” said Carmel Giblin, CEO and President of the Ethical Supply Chain Initiative. Crucial. “Our procurement tools put the power back into the hands of companies, allowing them to choose factories that operate to the ethical standards they need. ”
The Toy Association has maintained a close relationship with ESCP since its establishment in 2004.
Registration for the program will open in December at no additional cost to Toy Association members. For more information, visit ethicalsupplychain.org.
