Re-read my comment Son of ShinobuLast year’s first quarter, Son of Shinobu Season 2 is a completely different ball game (and not just because we probably won’t see Aqua and Kana catch the ball this time). Now that the show has shown more of its chops, it’s no longer a hard question to accept. Now, we have a good idea of what we’re getting into: a revenge story set against the brutal backdrop of the Japanese entertainment industry. It’s going to get very, very meta as this season dives straight into storylines adapting the comics for the stage.
Pure Animation: Who is surprised to see Yiko-sensei return and play such an important role in this installment? this sweet today The live-action adaptation may be long over, but it still has an impact on the world Son of Shinobu. Tokyo Blade manga artist Ahiko-sensei witnessed what happened after Yiko handed her work to the pros; now, she’s determined to do everything herself. They are two sides of the same coin: Yoriko is too submissive, and Abiko is too aggressive. right path writer Akasaka It seems to suggest that there is somewhere in the middle here. While both characters express their opinions on the manga adaptation, it’s hard not to see Akasaka himself discussing his own experiences. this Kaguya-sama: Love is war The creator has seen his creations turned into critically acclaimed animated and less-than-stellar live-action versions, so his real-life experiences echo those of his fictional creators. When Yoriko bluntly tells the staff that “weekly comics are not a job fit for humans,” it’s hard not to think how Son of Shinobu It’s the effort of two people (by Push Mengwu horizontally). However, Akasaka’s previous comics were personal works. If this arc feels emotionally real, it’s because it probably is.
It was a record-breaking moment in the first episode when my grandson teacher asked for a complete rewrite. The second episode justifies her seemingly unjust demands and sympathizes with the creators of Telephone Game for having indirect communication with the writers. Then, by the third episode, it became clear that the writers GOA weren’t worth what the second episode was throwing at them. Like most of the previous arcs Son of Shinobu, the lesson seems to be that everyone in the entertainment industry is just doing their best. There are no bad guys here, just conflicting motives. (Except for Ai Weiwei’s killer…we’ll have to speculate.) My grandson may be a lovable geeky genius, but she’s not perfect. She sleeps only two hours a night and slowly kills herself because she can’t even hand over control to her comic assistant. As Raiko rolls up her sleeves and helps Ah Tzu meet a tight deadline, the two artists (one drunk, one sleep-deprived) bicker with each other, expertly targeting each other’s weaknesses like the oldest and closest friends. The same can be done. The voice acting in this scene is excellent, walking the line between overt aggression and affectionate banter.
But the real mastermind of this episode was Amiya, who soundly defeated Columbus Yiko and handed over only one thing to Yiko: a ticket to another GOA drama. Only Aqua knows if what he has planned will work, since we the audience don’t actually see any of the scenes. tennis Prince crush heaven Play. We only know what’s good about it because Aqua said this after watching it: Disappointing use of telling rather than showing. After watching episode 3, I looked up 2.5D dramas, usually referred to under the StageAround brand. Since they can only be performed in theaters with specific technology, there are not many such theaters in the world. There’s one in France (this TikTok video shows what it looks like), one in the Netherlands, and one in Tokyo (of course). American audiences will have to wait for the StageAround theater in Las Vegas, which is still under construction.
This is my only disappointment with a strong start to the new season Son of Shinobu. This is an arc about adapting a manga, which makes me wary of how anime can elevate the source material. My favorite change so far was in the first episode, where the animation added bold colors to the rehearsal scenes to showcase each actor’s unique energy. Episode three follows, and the voice actors of the two comic creators perfectly capture the tone of their back-and-forth. Elsewhere, I see a missed opportunity. The anime still has a chance to show us more 2.5D games than the manga did, and I hope it seizes that opportunity.
