Together with the rejuvenated Xiaojun, Guang and Alma fought a wonderful battle against the giant monster. Mecha Oud Audra, if you think this is Mecha Oudending. But no—it’s only episode nine, just the latest in a series of “finales” that bring the show as close as it gets to the equally ridiculous content of 2018. planets anda show mainly consists of one ending after another. I’m not necessarily complaining; when done well, as in this episode, the “more is more” style of storytelling can be fun.
Audra isn’t an opponent per se, but a force of nature whose full power is hindered by the surrounding shards of its broken tether, a visual that reminds me of a trippy (and stunning) rail-shooter. The final “boss” Rez. Whether this is intentional or not is up for debate, but anything that even accidentally references one of my top games of all time is fine with me.
Light and Alma are now more in sync than ever, and their crazy new combined form is reminiscent of Tianyuan LuoyanContinuously expand the mecha, and as the character grows, its power increases exponentially. As they work together to fight a common enemy, they develop a close bond with Jun, who even receives a heartfelt compliment from our core cast. As I always thought, Jun is indeed a good kid.
This theme of collaboration continues, with the (beautifully designed, cool blue and yellow) Twos reunited with her ecstatic former partner Oner to help ARMS distract Ordela so Hikaru and Jun can attack. Focus, finally everyone in Kagami Group and ARMS will be on the same side – now we know who the real opponent is…
I almost got it right a few episodes ago, when a post-credits scene showed the creepy flower Amaryllis facing her boss, a character whose silhouette looked suspiciously similar to Alma’s former partner, Yakumo. Amaryllis is not dead, and it turns out that she has been parasitizing the Kagami family, controlling the head of their family for each generation for the past century. Whether this is related to Jun’s Arbitrium flaw is unclear. Despite this, successive heads of the Kagami family have died at younger and younger ages. Once his brother Naoto’s life force was inevitably drained by Amaryllis, Shun became next in line.
The clever thing about this episode is that it subverts our expectations. The Kagami Group is not necessarily the bad guys, as they have been controlled by Amaryllis for decades. Xiaojun’s brother is not the jerk we thought he was – he has been doing his best to protect his brother, building Ouroboros, a synthetic Mecha Oud Specifically designed to destroy amaryllis. In contrast, ARMS is real enemy. We already knew leader Argis was a jerk, but now we know he’s a jerk real Yakumo? This was a huge twist and something I wasn’t expecting. Hopefully we’ll get more answers in the remaining three episodes, I’m almost certain it’ll be crazier than what we see, especially given the show’s obvious inspirations.
By episode 9, Mecha Oud Continues to excel in clever, economical storytelling. While this episode is still packed with events, it feels worthwhile, less rushed, and more focused than previous stories. I’m excited to see what happens next.

Mechanical Meditations:
• In this plot-heavy and exposition-heavy episode, Meru is once again conspicuous by his absence. I await her big return. Surely Hikaru and Aki will share some vaguely romantic moments in the final three episodes that could easily be misconstrued by fanboys? • Jun’s synthesis Mecha Oud It is now possible to delete human users Mecha Oud Leave their body without causing harm. Is this part of Naohito’s plan? • How did Yakumo survive for so long? yes Mecha Oud The key to immortality? What is his goal?
