“Merge! Serbo Dover Demon Loch Ness Monster! It’s an episode He Dahe Basically has everything a fan of the show could want, and it continues to show science saruWith his excellent production instincts, he is able to adapt and even improve upon the source material. this is not a perfect It had to be this episode, as the long battles with the Serboans and their various oddball monsters could get a little too hectic at times, but even a slightly less than perfect episode He Dahe Pretty much ahead of any other anime currently playing. Plus, the episode contains one of the show’s funniest scenes to date, which makes it easy to forgive any minor flaws in the action.
To be clear, this week’s actions were as shocking as ever. The only downside to the multi-pronged battle against the Loch Ness Monster, Mantis Shrimp Guy, and banana-organ-stealing Serboans is that the wild choreography and mostly underwater scenes make the action slower than the series’ Normal conditions are harder to track. I can’t blame the show for trying hard to keep all these plates spinning without missing a beat, but there were just a few moments where I simply couldn’t understand everyone’s relationship to their enemies, or what direction they were aiming when they landed. In the grand scheme of things, this is small fry, but after so many weeks of singing its praises He DahePerfectly executed, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that I actually had some issues the first time around.
Otherwise? Rules for this episode. The claustrophobic school setting lends the whole affair some vague survival horror vibes, although the episode’s insane humor dial is already hitting eleven. Poor O’Cullen spends the entire episode clinging to his meat and a vegetable in awkward desperation, while Ella’s new acrobatic silky abilities turn her into a kick-ass creature of the night who’s as ruthless as she is horny ,arrogant. From a human perspective, that’s perfect for the character! Ella remains as clumsy and incompetent as ever, despite her attempts to compete with Momo for O’Callen’s affections.
Momo, by the way, is the undisputed star of this episode. Not only is her reaction to Ella’s clumsy love triangle strategy still hilarious, but she once again demonstrates her penchant for tactical combat against NesShrimpoaian monsters. It takes a while for all the beats of the battle to come together, but it would be too bad if the explosive ending wasn’t satisfying. I also liked that the entire show paused to give O’Callen and Momo a chance to air their misunderstandings about O’Callen’s misadventures with Ella. We’re in the midst of the craziest crisis our heroes have ever faced, and they still A cuter and more practical couple than the protagonists of most run-of-the-mill romance comics. Go do the math.
By the end, though, the best moment of the episode comes…well, at the end, when O’Karen, Momo, and Ella end up soaking wet, nearly naked, and posing in very suggestive ways in front of the audience . The entire final scene is so awkward, embarrassing, and ridiculous that it basically goes without saying. However, please give me another chance and thank the animation gods for their blessings. science saru With wit and flair, deviating from the comic’s art style and layout to make an already hilarious conclusion ten times funnier. Other studios should take note. Sometimes the only way to properly adapt a manga is to completely disrupt its established style and pacing in order to take advantage of the animated medium. Again: think about it.
