In addition to continuing some plot elements from the previous episode, Mecha Oud Enter a new story line in the second half. After the harrowing battle with Amaryllis and her possessed sister, Aki seems to have grown up a bit, and whether he likes it or not, she’s fully committed to her role as Light’s bodyguard. Kagami Group and their various human mechasAoud’s lackeys keep trying to catch Alma and Hikaru, but thankfully Aki is too badass to let them do that, not that she goes out of her way to try to restrain them after the fight. some people.
After appearing in previous episodes with numerical names for Kagami Group agents such as “Oner”, “Twos” and “Threeg”, we now meet “Fourte”, a 14-year-old black-clad, shark-toothed, eyepatch-wearing Gothic Lolita wielding a mechaa – Udgatling machine gun. She looks funny, but Mecha Oud It’s back to a breathless, hyperactive pace, cramming so much into each episode that we barely have time to get to know any of the new characters. How much would you be willing to bet that the next episode will introduce someone named “Fiver”?
Part of the problem is that much of Episode 7 consists of multiple flashbacks, dating back to the Meiji Era (1868-1912), when Kagamihara siblings Yakumo and Tsukihito discovered Alma and his brother Fist. We see Alma form a strong bond with Yakumo, but he dies after a failed attempt to awaken “Audra”. This is the trauma that caused Alma to be inactive for over a century, and it’s still fresh in his mind, with memories coming back to him since his battle with Amaryllis.
Alma feels deeply guilty about Yakumo’s death, and he fears that Hikaru will suffer the same fate, leading to the tragic breakup of their partnership – although this is very one-sided, for Hikari, he and Alma The connection gives him meaning. This meaning was cruelly taken away by Argis, the leader of ARMS, who declared that he had returned to the identity of an ordinary civilian and had no place to interact with other mechas.a-Ude user. At least Aggie has his back, declaring that she’s still his bodyguard before bringing him back to his senses. I love Ashe, but she would make a terrible girlfriend.
Highlights include Alma trying to sneak away from Hikaru while wrapped in a hoodie, which is pretty pathetic, and how Jun picks him up and spins him around like he’s drying his clothes . Jun’s motivations are a little unclear, other than that he took the opportunity to try and mock Alma herself. So why did he call the light in the first place and allow Alma to speak to him? Is it all out of self-interest, or is he subconsciously a true brother?
The two separations in this episode – between Alma and Yakumo and between Alma and Hikaru – fall victim to it again Mecha Oudrelentless pace. I wish more time had been dedicated to exploring the emotional side of these relationships. I worry that this cavalier attitude towards character growth and development might lead to Mecha Oud It’s considered superficial, which is unfortunate considering how much care and attention was put into the action scenes (brief in this episode at least) and the intricate plot.
The backstory is still completely plagiarized. Transformers.

Mechanical thinking:
• Since Jun and Kazuwa were separated from their respective mechas for most of the episodea-Ude, it shows that reversing the decontamination process isn’t too traumatic if done as planned. Jun also lost most of his green hair. I’m not sure if this means anything.
• It looks like Yakumo died during the Meiji era, so we’re no closer to finding out who Amaryllis’ mysterious boss is in the final episode’s post-credits scene.
• Is Tsukihiko’s illness related to the same illness that plagues Jun? They are both members of the Kagami family, so is this hereditary and therefore passed down from generation to generation, or is it related to exposure to mecha?A-ud? Judging from their official website character profiles, they all seem to have bad backgrounds…
