You know, this whole episode Stunt TourI kept expecting that Hugh guy to be Chrom’s red-headed friend in the flashbacks, but that never happened. He had just been “sanctioned” by the evil organization and turned into a…cute…little…mascot guy…That’s when I noticed the true white eyes and hair color of our good friend and the one that inspired Chrom to become The evil villain’s child looks exactly like a long time ago. By the way, what’s his name? horse-bow? Um…
Well, I’m sure this detail won’t have any impact on the rest of the show’s story!
As for the rest of “Hocus de Lawless,” I’m happy to report that it was a very good time! The novelty of this story is that it brings real stakes to this hitherto lackluster plan, and those stakes come in the form of Hugh, the company’s new representative who plans to use his incredibly unique skills to bring Fossa Magna to Taken in a bold new direction: He’s probably the only person on this show besides Chizuko who isn’t a completely incompetent clown. Not only did he hijack a news station and effortlessly defeat our antihero, but he immediately imprisoned Berry Blossom within ten seconds of the magical girl arriving on the scene. this is not touchingwhich is a given, as Berry Blossom is as completely forgettable as Chrome, but it’s still a bigger threat than our protagonist appears to be.
This leads to a rather fun and entertaining romp where Mashirou, Chizuko, and Chrome must team up to take down the new bad guy. Now, while I appreciate some of the gags, like when Chrome ends up dressing up like a magical girl and sneaking Mashirou and her wand into the news station, I also can’t help but feel like the show is doing this on purpose when it comes to Chizuko He joked with us about his magical potential. I am affim We’re finally getting a full-on dark magical girl transformation for our deserving protagonist, but all Chizuko does with her weird powers is melt Hugh’s challenge with the power of her evil (almost certainly gay) love for Berry Blossom.
Of course, this leads to the funniest part of the episode, where Chrome wins thanks to a masterminded strategy of tipping off his boss, which is exactly the kind of silly little victory I’d expect from everyone’s favorite lovable loser. So, I’m going to go ahead and score this out Stunt Tourof favor. We may not have gotten the full evolution of General Dante’s powers we deserved, but we’ve gotten some neat little world-building nuggets to chew on, and we can laugh at all the crazy noises Chrome makes. voice actor Must be produced in a recording studio. I think it’s a win-win situation.
