Episode 11 Makeine: There are so many failed heroines! A wake-up call for our protagonist.
Nukushui learned a pretty important lesson this week about how to treat others. Apparently, he’s just trying to help so far, and mostly doing a good job. In most ways, he doesn’t seem like a selfish or selfish person, which is nice. Still, navigating other people’s relationships and trying to help – while still being stuck in many of the same situations yourself – can often be a chaotic affair. This is especially true when everyone involved is a teenager, still learning their way around and gaining much-needed life experience.
Nukushui faces the fact that his intentions are no more important than how others actually feel. He may be trying to help Komari, but frankly, he’s not actually helping her, which is both confusing and confusing. He took the idea of helping Komari succeed and kept it separate from her personally. Nukumizu wants Komari to succeed on his terms, timing and metrics — but that’s not what Komari really wants. So he spent this week doing a serious self-examination and realizing the hard way that other people are actually themselves. Even though we all know Nukusui is the main character in the show, he’s just another person in a larger world filled with other people with their own dreams, ambitions, and needs.
Glad to finally have a positive resolution as well. I loved how everyone gathered together and laughed on the rooftop, which was a great ending to an emotionally tumultuous episode. The kind sentiment about relationships being temporary but something we cherish while experiencing them was a nice bow to the whole experience.
