I almost believe it is trigger‘s next piece; it was even scored by the incomparable Hiroyuki SawanoTheir signature dramatic EDM is easily recognizable from the first few bars of standout opener VORTEX, complete with the requisite Sawano Drop. Hang it on my veins.
director Okamoto’s owe triggerof Kill, kill It’s especially obvious that the outstanding orange-haired female character Aki Murasame echoes the series’ protagonist Ryuko Matoi not only in her cool, snarky attitude, but also in her sartorial style. Dual-wielding the robotic arms “Sinis” and “Dex” (“left” and “right”, Latin fans), Aki’s black and red robot companions evoke a strong Senjue vibe. After Aki’s introduction in the first episode, I knew I was going to have a great time with Aki Mecha Oud.
However, the protagonist is not Aki, but Hikaru Amatsu, a third-year “ordinary high school student” living in Kitakami City. He was a quiet, reserved, shy young man who started hearing people asking him for help. When his friends think he might be haunted by a ghost, he follows the disembodied voice through a back alley (is that a good idea for an anime protagonist?) and discovers a strange metal cube that suddenly sticks to him On his hoodie, a chatty robotic arm grew, with glowing orange eyes. Light is understandably freaked out, especially since the sentient arm has no idea of its own identity, and seems to need to be close to Light in order to continue functioning. When two rival agencies begin to hunt them down, Hikaru has no choice but to team up with his strange new friends.
Guang learned from Aki, who claimed to be his bodyguard, that his new partner was “Alma”, a special “Mecha Oud” called “trigger Arm” and Hikaru has nothing to do with it. Mecha Oud They are supposed to use a biological compound called “Arbitrium” as fuel to “bond” with human flesh in exchange for granting the human host enhanced physical abilities. Unfortunately, Hikaru’s Arbitrium levels are abnormally low, and Alma hasn’t even bonded with his physical body yet. Hikaru is essentially a dead weight…until he isn’t.
We all know how things are going to go, and Mecha Oud Adherence to the teenage hero formula is itself a variation on the literary hero’s journey. Light experiences a real call to adventure from Alma, which he initially refuses, but later receives supernatural help, passes the threshold of ability, and begins a series of tests. although Mecha OudThe character designs are very simple, and they’re deliberately reminiscent of a more classic shounen aesthetic – which probably also helps with the animated action. for Mecha Oud TRiF itself uses a seamless combination of CG and 2D hand-drawn animation that looks fantastic in action. At times it even feels like they’re showing off their dynamic camera angles and incredible dancing.
As much as I gushed about the action sequences, Mecha Oud Not from wall to wall Mecha Fight – A healthy mix of slapstick comedy and fun school humor. I particularly like the blue-haired Shirayama Meru, the top unconscious wing girl who always gets the wrong idea about Aki and Hikari’s relationship. and a host of other actors Mecha Oud users, including an evil cabal who “bind” their Mecha Ouddepriving them of their free will.
The first three episodes provide viewers with a wealth of information and characters, but remain coherent and entertaining throughout. We’re left with a lot of unanswered questions for the protagonists and the promise of a very interesting journey. I’m excited to follow it with you.
