emilia clarke (game of Thrones) to star in upcoming spy thriller ponythe series has been ordered directly from Peacock.
The play is set in Moscow in 1977.
“Until their husbands are mysteriously killed in the Soviet Union, the two become CIA agents. Bea (Clark) is a well-educated child of Soviet immigrants who speaks Russian.
“Her companion, Twila, is a small-town girl who is rough and fearless. Together they work to uncover a vast Cold War conspiracy and unravel the mystery that left them widowed in the first place.
This series is developed by co-creators Suzanne Fogel (Stewardess, the spy who dumped me) and David EasonClark will also serve as executive producer.
Fogel will also direct the series, and Ethanson will serve as showrunner.
Clark will also star in an upcoming Amazon series criminal. She is best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. Since then, she has appeared in films such as secret invasion, me before you, last christmas, pod generation, Solo: A Star Wars Storyand Terminator Genisys.
