This play mainly tells the story of the alternative Elsbeth Tascioni.
After a successful career in Chicago, an unconventional but savvy attorney uses her unique perspective to make unique observations and work with the NYPD to bring criminals to justice.
After a number of controversial arrests, she was assigned supervisory supervision or a consent order.
Nine of the first ten episodes feature an inverted detective story format.
After the intense finale of Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10, the NYPD has gone through some shake-up.

Elsbeth airs Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT on CBS.
The show is expected to retain its original time slot, with new episodes launching the day after they air on Paramount+.
