Ivan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Mel Brooks (space ball), and Asa Butterfield (ender’s game) will star in the upcoming fantasy animated film sometimes land.
The film is adapted from Francesca Longrigg’s original audiobook, which follows twins Alfie and Elise “after they are transported to a magical island by a wish collector. The story of a mysterious creature embarking on an adventure together. The story explores themes of family and self-discovery.
The rest of the cast includes Helena Bonham Carter (crown), Alyssa Weir (Matilda: The Musical) and Jessica Henwick (glass onion). The film also features the late’s final performance Monty Python alum Terry Jones.
The film is directed by Leon Jolson (save santa claus) from the script Tony Nottage. Bonnie Arnold (How to train your dragon) and Alan Yentob (billy Elliot).
