The second gameplay update for EA Sports FC 25 has been released, but initially it was only released on PC, with cross-play between the platform and consoles now on hold until Xbox and PlayStation players can get it as well.

“Please note that once this TU is released, cross-platform play on PC will not be available until the TU is available on other platforms in the near future,” EA wrote in the description of the game’s second update.
In case you were wondering, these are the issues it fixes, with the game modes affected by the different fixes shown in bold because of the formatting.
General, audio and visual:
- Sometimes button inputs were not registered when performing actions in the menu.
- There is a controller compatibility issue when using Steam input.
- Steam input now needs to be enabled before launching EA SPORTS FC 25 for it to function as expected.
- Occasional stability issues may occur in all online modes.
Ultimate Team:
- Stability issues when accessing squad battles.
- Fixed a stability issue in the store.
- Sometimes unexpected UI elements appear on the screen.
- The message displayed when confirming the start of evolution has been adjusted.
Profession:
- Addresses stability issues in managers’ careers.
