What is Duswell and the Graffitiverse?
Dullsville and the Doodleverse is an animated short film that will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
The first trailer, released on July 17, takes viewers to the town of Dullsville, where imaginations are controlled by the company Dream Pump Industries.
The protagonist Hap and his cat Merlot travel through a boring world until a chance encounter with the delivery truck of Dream Pump Industries brings them into the graffiti universe, a kingdom full of unlimited imagination. Hap must overcome his self-doubt and use his creativity to return home and change lives in Dullsville forever.
Early access to music and video premieres
In addition to the label announcement, Doodles also launched DoodlesTV, a platform that provides fans with early access to music releases and video premieres.
“Music is and will continue to be a core pillar of Doodles, so we’re excited to announce the launch of Doodles Records,” said Julian Holguin, CEO of Doodles. “Releasing music on our first project alongside some of the most legendary and relevant artists in the world is a dream come true and a huge sense of pride. Going forward, we will fuse music, animation and technology to create groundbreaking content experience that supports artists and their communities.
Starting next week, fans can purchase an all-media pass for DoodlesTV Season 1 to gain early access to the Doodlesville and Doodleverse animated special.
