Mafia: Homeland doesn’t have an Italian dub, but 2K has now revealed the reasons behind what initially seemed a rather puzzling omission – Hangar 13’s choice to have a Sicilian dub.
In case you missed it, The Old Country was revealed at the end of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, with a trailer confirming a 2025 release window and offering up the game’s depiction of 1900s Sicilian underworld.

Shortly after the screening, fans checked the game’s Steam store listing and discovered that the full audio for Italian was not included in the list of supported languages, with the box found for English, French, German, Spanish, Czech, and Russian. People were a little confused given that the story takes place in Italy, but that’s okay, 2K has now stepped in to clarify the situation.
