A good first issue does have something special, and we’ll get three great series in the top comics to buy this week on March 12. There is a lot of work to be done in a good first phase. It must introduce characters, a concept, and even an entire unique world – while inspiring readers to continue next month.
It’s not easy, but you won’t know from the book Various crisis activities, dark pyramids, welcome to Twilightall of which absolutely nailed their debut (and then some). You can find more information on why I like each of the questions below, as well as my usual set of release lists and suggestions… Enjoy!
Top comics purchased on March 12
Various Crisis Events #1
writer: Camp Deniz
artist: Eric Zawadzki
Colorist: Jordie Bellaire
letter: Hassan Otsane-Elhaou
Publisher: Image comics
Time is in crisis. In the Red Light District Mix, you can find real caves, medieval knights and cyborg soldiers in World War IV. The Victorian debut was when they were on their way to the phone store, confused and confused (what is a data plan?). On the way to work, the blushing commuter is trapped in a time loop, attacked by his own alternative reality version and attempts to avoid the post-apocalyptic wasteland. And watch: 3:15 The bus has just had a wrong turn… into the Neolithic age. Rising stars Deniz Camp and Eric Zawadzki and Eisner-winners Jordie Bellaire and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou are proud to present Assorted Crisis Events, an ongoing, zig-zagging anthology series about the compromised clicks of our clocks-full of one-shot stories both beautiful and ugly, tragic and redemptive, surreal and somehow all too familiar.
Why it’s cool: Sean Dillon Already wrote about this issue in our Wednesday comic review column, saying it “will be one of the best books of the year.” I totally agree. This is the absolute shocker of the first question, and it is possible that the beginning of the era-defining image comics. Don’t miss it.

Dark Pyramid #1
writer: Paul Tobin
artist: PJ Holden
Colorist: Sara Colella
letter: Taylor Esposito
Publisher: Crazy cave studio
Adventurer and popular live streamer Hooky Hidalgo disappeared while climbing Denali in Alaska! When his girlfriend Becca reaches the bottom of the mountain to recover his footsteps, she quickly discovers the dreamy and impressive landscape. Deep in the heart of Denali itself is a conspiracy – a dark pyramid, silent, waiting. Becca and dozens of stupid fans are determined to either find him or find some fun – face death, avalanche… and monsters to find the truth.
Why it’s cool: Dark pyramid Posted a survivalist horror story and was filled with comments about influencers and social media, with live streaming. This is a great mix of shells, all of which are made PJ Holden and Sara Colella, With letter Taylor Esposito. This is the type of the first issue, and I sighed at the end because I was terribly wondering what would happen next.

Former lovers from another dimension and former teammates from another world equals one goal: killing bronze. Throw some disgruntled assassin calls for the last mission, and you will take on a mature reality battle yourself. When the countdown ticked to an exciting climax, everyone’s hands-on action is OK!
Why it’s cool: Michel Fiffe (Not surprisingly) provides awesome and appropriate release for his long-running, true independent comic series glue. Here are the “last mission”, complex relationships, and the real battles played here. Here’s everything you want in the grand comic series finale.

Snotgirl #19
writer: Bryan Lee O’Malley
artist: Leslie hangs
Colorist: Rachael Cohen
letter: Iasmin Omar ata
Publisher: Image comics
“Weekend II”, Part 3. A surprise ally made Lotti’s weekend brighter. Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Virgil and Sunny met a meeting and could be sure to say, “Only in snotgirl!”
Why it’s cool: I’ve always loved these new ones Snotgirl The problem, this week is no exception. I won’t spoil anything that happens, but I’ll say that this continues to feel like a book itself, a natural book that provides character moments and plot developments, and that’s only possible with this particular comic. I love it.

Welcome to Twilight #1
writer: Matt score
Storyline: Matt Fraction, Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum
artist: Michael Allred
Colorist: Laura Allred
letter: Nate Piekos
Publisher: Dark Horse Comics
Twilight may be a home for a secondary threat, but they aren’t the only fanatical supervillain and hero who struggle to find their way. Comic book superstar Matt Fraction and Mike Allred reunited to tell a twisted and black story about fame, Dames and the dynasty rogue, involving minor threats: Welcome to Twilight. Benjamin Brock Bronkovic (Benjamin” Brock Brock is a washed, bird-winged actor, not a superhero, but he used to play on TV. Now Brock spends time on Superhero Convent Tour to deliver on his brief fame as he gradually grows Becoming obscure and removing his own problems. But the chance encounter with a mysterious woman makes Brock fight for the life he once thought it was over. Can Brock learn to fly again? Or will his vices and the cruel gangsters on his tail always hold his wings?
Why it’s cool: Matt Score and Mike Allred co-created a black story that also commented on the entertainment industry and some of the ideas of some of the most twisted weird superheroes I’ve seen in comics. This is one of those first questions that are inherently independent, where the protagonist goes through a nice arc that draws us at the beginning of a bigger story. I love it, and it’s an easy choice for the highest comics of the week to buy on March 12.
