The Strand rocket launcher Crowning Duolog returns in this year’s Solstice of Heroes event in Destiny 2, but in a form we’ve never seen before. Like other weapons that were only available during the summer event, Coronation Dual has updated its perks this year, some of which are perfect for dealing massive damage in the PvE scene. While the Crowning Duologue may not replace your go-to rocket launcher like the Apex Predator, it can be a good alternative for certain builds or to take advantage of Strand surges during certain events.
Here’s how you get the coronation dialogue and scroll perk combo you want to chase.

How to get coronation dialogue
Four weapons are only available during the Solstice of Heroes event, and the Coronation Conversation is one of them. This means that the Rocket Launcher is part of the Solstice loot pool. The best way to get it and get multiple rolls is to participate in Solstice’s Bonfire Bash event, which will eventually drop various Solstice weapons based on your performance. Sometimes, you can also get coronation dialogue from Solstice packs, completing Solstice bounties, and Solstice event cards. Still, these methods aren’t as reliable as just planting a Bonfire Rave.
Coronation Bilingual Divine Scroll
Coronation Bilingual PvE God Scroll
- bucket: Unstable launch
- +15 Explosion Radius, -5 Speed, -5 Maneuverability
- Magazine:Alloy shell
- +30 reload speed, -10 stability
- First benefit:reconstruction
- The weapon slowly reloads over time, up to twice its capacity.
- Second benefit:bait and switch
- Deals damage with all equipped weapons for a short period of time, increasing the damage of that weapon.
- masterpiece: Reload speed
If you want to use Coronation Dual to deal damage, the winning perk combos are Rebuild and Bait and Switch. Rebuild is similar to an autoloading holster, but allows your magazine to hold two rockets at a time, giving you a serious damage boost if you quickly fire with each weapon before switching to rockets. About the boss. For everything else, focus on reload speed to get as many rockets as fast as possible so you can keep shooting. This combination can make the Coronation Bilingual a serious DPS weapon. However, due to its prototype, it was never going to be as good as some of the top meta rockets out there today, such as the Apex Predator. Still, this is a good option for dealing choke damage when needed.
Another option here is Chain Reaction and Larvae, changing the coronation dialogue from a damage-dealing role to a clearing enemy role. Chain reactions are always a fun moment because they can take out multiple enemies at once, and hatching means those kills will spawn extra threads to run around and kill more enemies. For this roll, you need to focus on the blast radius to catch more aliens in the blast.
Crowned Duologue PvP Scroll
- bucket: Unstable launch
- +15 Explosion Radius, -5 Speed, -5 Maneuverability
- Magazine: High speed bullet
- +10 speed, +10 reload speed
- First benefit: Larvae/Pulse Amplifier
- Larvae: A precise finishing blow or quick defeat of a target with this weapon will spawn a Larvae at the target’s location.
- Pulse Amplifier: Greatly increases warhead speed and reload speed.
- Second benefit: Cluster bomb/chain reaction
- Cluster Bombs: Rockets create cluster bombs when they spawn.
- Chain Reaction: Each final hit with this weapon causes an explosion of elemental damage.
- masterpiece: Explosion radius
Rockets in PvP rely primarily on their blast radius and speed stats to function: blast radius to create the biggest possible explosion to target multiple targets, and speed to get the rocket to its target as quickly as possible, making it harder to dodge. Crowned Bilingual has some perks that can heavily impact the first, but if you’re after PvP rolls, keep an eye on the speed stat. Larvae pair well here with cluster bombs or Chain Reaction, the latter two of which increase the size of the explosion when the rocket hits – Chain Reaction requires actually grabbing the enemy in the explosion to amplify the explosion, but can take the opponent by surprise, Cluster bombs simply add more bombs to the blast zone. If you can kill multiple guardians with rockets (which is the point), the larvae will reward your efforts by creating thread bodies to hunt down more opponents.
However, if you find that your rockets aren’t reaching your targets in time to actually kill them, or if you’re missing a lot, consider a pulse amplifier. This perk greatly increases your speed stat to speed up your rockets, and while big explosions are nice, it’s not particularly useful if your rockets are too slow.
