Nearly 40 years after John Constantine first appeared in Swamp Thing, his early life is reprinted in a deluxe hardcover compendium. This mammoth first volume, which collects Constantine’s personal adventures, is currently on sale for $139.50 on Amazon (normally $150) and will be released on October 15th. Clocking in at nearly 1,600 pages, the book is a huge journey through London’s seedy paranormal scene, and comes with tons of extras.

This particular comic was written by Jamie Delano, who helped establish Constantine and his world over dozens of comic book issues, creating a complex and fascinating character. There are some great stories here, like “The Fear Machine” and “The Family Man,” by John Ridgway, Richard Pierce Rayner, Stephen R. Bisset, and other illustrators The artwork helped define a dark narrative style that became Hellraiser Comics’ trademark. Here’s the full list of what you get in this rundown:
