This rejected true-crime podcast junkie has been stabbing Salem citizens in the back for too long, and the cardboard cutout of Lee she’s been talking to doesn’t do the story any favors.
Only in Salem could a weirdo wreak so much havoc without anyone suspecting, especially after Melinda randomly “takes time off” from a job to which she appears to be married.
Luckily, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/16/24 guarantee that the story is coming to an end!
Once it reaches its explosive conclusion, hopefully Connie will go to jail or die and someone will burn Lee’s cutout.
There have been rumors that Lee is still alive, and after how many times the writers tortured the audience with that stupid cutout, I could do without this plot twist.
Fiona confesses to Xander
However, she is unlikely to admit that she was responsible for Sarah’s accident
Fiona needs to say something to stop Sander from attacking Brady with a bat, who was supposed to be breaking a piñata at her child’s birthday party.

But before anyone gets too excited, she’s unlikely to admit that she knocked Sarah over.
This would be anticlimactic, so would only happen if the writers decided the story was a failure and needed to end as soon as possible.
So Fiona might agree to sleep with Brady, which would be better than repeating the old TV cliché of someone interrupting her before she finishes speaking, which already happened in Friday’s episode.
What will be Melinda’s fate?

After Jada fails to find and rescue Melinda, Connie returns home and Melinda seduces her into confessing to more crimes.
It’s a great plan, except Melinda should wait until she’s no longer tied up before going into prosecutor mode.
Connie is coming at her with a knife, but she probably won’t kill her. Anyway, I hope not.
As much as I didn’t like Melinda, her death was unnecessary and only made the story worse.
I’m rooting for her to run away and leave clues for Jada to find. Let some strong women save the world instead of these constant damsels in distress!
Raph starts to remember what happened to him
Like Sarah, he has only vague memories
Has Connie’s luck run out?
Shortly after waking up, Rafe seems to remember Connie gloating after she stabbed him.
Since his back was to her, it was impossible for him to see the attacker, but he definitely heard her voice!
Assuming Connie hears her voice in real time, this is another coup de grace for him.
I don’t know how Rafe will ultimately identify his attacker, but since Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/16/24 hint at an explosive finale, it’s likely he will.
Jada may be upset with herself because she thinks Everett/Bobby stabbed Rafe because he couldn’t let go of the drama between Jada and Rafe, but she’d better put it aside . There’s a serial killer that needs to be caught!

The Ava/Stefan/Gabby love triangle has been around ever since Gabby caught Ava and Stefan rolling in the hay, so this latest development isn’t a surprise.
But how did they end up in danger in the first place?
Ava is the key to two different mysteries, and both Fiona and Connie want to shut her up for good, so there’s no telling how things will turn out.

As the wall approaches, will everyone involved survive her downfall?
In a way, I felt sorry for Connie.
She wasn’t a character I wanted to be associated with, but I was frustrated with her because none of her plans worked.
Instead, her attempts at revenge leave Gabi happier than ever, while Melinda refuses to quietly accept her fate as an eternal hostage and potential murder victim.

More bumps in the road for fake Abigail

I hope Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/16/24 will put an end to this annoying story, or at least give an explanation.
At this point, we know that fake Abigail is Mark Green’s sister. What we don’t know is why they elaborate on the extremes.
Are they suffering for money? Did this woman take Teresa’s place, trying to forge official documents to further her own agenda?
It was the only thing that made sense, but I felt like there was more to the story than that, and I wanted to know what it was.
Fake Abigail is obvious, Chad is oblivious, and if we’re going to experience this, we should know why.
Fake Abigail continues to cheat on Chad
A new “memory” moved him deeply
The really despicable thing about this whole story is that fake Abigail is a liar who is manipulating a man who has been grieving for too long to move on.
Chad is desperate to have Abigail back, a woman he firmly believes is his late wife.
It was disgusting when Andrea did it in Neighbors, and this is equally disgusting.
She would fake another memory, and Chad, who should know better, would believe wholeheartedly that they were one step closer to getting the love of his life back.
It’s also not a good thing for DiMera to be fooled so easily, even if it’s understandable in Chad’s case.
Suspicious Steve confronts Clyde
If anyone has the answer, it’s him
Finally, some good news!
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of September 16 say Steve will confront Clyde to try to get answers.
Of course, he won’t get any satisfaction. Why would he do this?
Last time, he tried to betray Clyde after he blackmailed Ava into helping him escape from prison. Clyde didn’t want to play anymore after that.
Let’s hope Steve continues to have Salem’s brain.
Unlike police procedurals, Days of Our Lives likes to dumb down the cops and detectives so the villains can get the upper hand, but enough is enough.
