Dave Bautista has revealed how he secretly expresses his gratitude to the WWE fans who have supported him during his journey to Hollywood.
this Guardians of the Galaxy The star recently told ComicBook.com that he tries to sneak his signature WWE finishing move, the Bautista Bomb, into all of his movies, including fight scenes in his latest project, My Spy: Eternal City.
“I just wanted to put it in,” Bautista said. “We were doing that fight scene and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is going to be fun.’ Now, it’s become an obsession of mine. I try to squeeze it into every movie just because. It’s one of those Easter eggs.” . I think if I could put that into every movie, I would. It’s just a tribute to my career.
Bautista worked in the WWE for nearly two decades — he started in 2000 and won two WWE Championships before retiring in 2019 — before entering Hollywood. He has starred in several popular films, including Blade Runner 2049, Glass Onion: The Mystery of Knives Out, Knock open the hut and dune Franchise.
However, Bautista also opened up entertainment tonight Earlier this week, he spoke about his personal struggles, admitting he still felt “unfulfilled as an actor.”
“I have goals in certain areas. I want to be an A to Z actor. I want to be in every genre,” he said. “There are still some that I haven’t gotten into yet, and there are still some boxes that I haven’t checked yet. But I haven’t gotten that deep, dramatic, touching role yet. [That’s what I’m] I keep searching, so I feel very unsatisfied.
Bautista added that while he “still has a passion for acting,” he also “has his sights set on directing.”
“I’m a total control freak, so I wanted to direct,” the actor continued. “I want to direct shows, I want to make my own movies.”
