He certainly had an impressive career and played some great roles, but despite this, Bautista felt “unfulfilled” as an actor, and he explained why.

He told ET: “I feel unsatisfied as an actor. I have goals in certain areas. I want to be an A to Z actor. I want to be in every genre.
“There are still some that I haven’t gotten into yet, and there are still some boxes that I haven’t checked yet. But I haven’t gotten that deep, dramatic, touching role yet. [That’s what I’m] I keep searching, so I feel very unsatisfied.
I get it, it makes sense that he really wanted to find a challenging dramatic role to propel him as an actor. At the same time, he has been working in Hollywood, an industry that is difficult for many people to enter, and even if they do, many actors still have difficulty finding stable work.
Bautista also wants to be a director one day. He said: “I am a complete control freak, so I want to be a director. I want to direct performances, and I want to make my own movies.”
I’m sure that as Bautista continues his journey as an actor, he will find the roles he is looking for. If he wants to direct, I’m sure he will eventually make it happen, and he will continue to work hard to make it happen.
