The trailer for this unconventional dark romantic comedy has been released, And madamStarring aisling bay, Colin Hanks and Billie Lourdalso sweet susan, Harriet Walterand Elizabeth McGovern.
The story follows a troubled woman who must decide how to move on after the sudden death of her fiancé. The director of this film is Daniel Reisinger In his feature directorial debut, the script was written by Melissa Bunick.
The summary is as follows:
“This is a hilarious and touching comedy that tells the story of Gemma, a woman living in London, whose American fiancé Nathan dies shortly before her wedding. Gemma has never been a true believer in modern marriage, and his death makes her Gemma re-evaluates her commitment to a life together.
When Nathan, encouraged by her chaotic and unconventional sister Audrey, decides to go ahead with the wedding anyway, she must overcome the opposition of public opinion, state law, and even her own family to get the final result. The right to say “I”.
This looks to be a very sweet and heartfelt film that puts a new spin on the genre. And madam The film will be released in the UK on September 2, but a US release date has not yet been confirmed.
