When his commander kills an indigenous resident, Sorolla rebels against his troops to save a child who suffered a similar fate. The quest for the Golden City turns into a hunt. The two fled the jungle, seeking shelter from the onslaught of Spanish soldiers who followed close behind. But deep in the jungle, in the heart of the ancient city, dwell terrifying warriors, waiting for the call of vengeance.
Vede, 28 (full name Alejandro Vede Cabalar), is a self-taught comics and concept artist from Estrada, Galicia (northwestern Spain). The work has attracted a large following on social media, with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. His previous professional works include four sketchbooks and mini-comics, e.g. redemption, entranceand rough road. 80 pages, Yucatan Peninsula 1512 marks his longest work to date.
