Published as part of the latest version Richard Cobain Library, Dark Horse Books announces the launch of its latest series, titled ROWLF AND OTHER FANTASY STORIES. Written and illustrated by acclaimed artist, Prix Angoulême winner and Will Eisner Hall of Famer Richard Coburn, the series presents the trilogy of werewolf tales in beautiful hardcover editions, with an all-new introduction from the legendary creator Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away), postscript from the project art director Jose Villarubiacover gallery, original font scripts and more.
This latest version will collect Rolf (Cyburn’s fantasy/sci-fi dystopian masterpiece inspired by Beauty and the Beast), beast of wolverton and its sequels beast spirit (the legendary love story of a werewolf family), and Ortego’s story (Based on the Japanese legend by Lafcadio Hearn) Restoration artwork on display for the first time.
