With a week to go before Deadpool and Wolverine hit theaters, Marvel Studios couldn’t resist releasing its final trailer, which features one of the best cameos: Dafne Keen returns as Wolverine Clone daughter Laura/X-23. Keen first played the character in the 2017 film Logan, which was originally Hugh Jackman’s last appearance as Wolverine before agreeing to return to the film. Now, Keen has revealed that she was able to keep her comeback a secret because she was inspired by the way Andrew Garfield lied in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
“everything [inspiration] Keen told Entertainment Weekly, “He’s the embodiment of Andrew Garfield. He’s the master of it.” Although Jackman’s Wolverine is different from the Wolverine in “Logan,” Keen Eun revealed that she is playing the same version of Laura, now as a young adult.
“As an adult, it’s great to be able to go back to this area and explore it,” Keane added. “It’s a lot more understanding now of a parent’s anger and bringing it to the table. I find that in Logan Laura accidentally has a father and then loses her father and we find that she once again truly knows how to appreciate – and it’s a wisdom for her – how much her father means to her. important.
But just because Laura is older, that doesn’t mean she’s stopped fighting. According to Keane, Laura is still going strong and wild.
“That’s how I found her again,” Keane said. “have”Watched a lot [for her]. She is just in my heart. The first thing I did for Deadpool was stunt training before shooting anything. I put on the costume and said, ‘Oh! She has come back.
“Deadpool” and “Wolverine” will be released on July 26.
