The Daily Roundup you’re listening to is part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host Reality Steve. Thank you all for watching a great Monday show. We’re going to talk about the fact that there was no live broadcast last night. Just a quick recap of the third episode of Jen’s season of The Bachelorette that we’re going to briefly discuss tonight, there’s a lot of Big Brother talking about last night and the craziness that happened over the weekend, and man, I’m obsessed with the live broadcast.
I’m also going to talk a little more about fame because on Tik TOK someone has apparently figured out everyone’s relatives and I read it and I saw it all. I, I, I, okay, we’re going to talk about this in a minute. Tropical Smoothie Cafe just wants to celebrate summer with you this week.
From July 22 to July 28, Tropic Rewards members can receive a free Island Punch Smoothie with the purchase of a bowl or food, including peach, guava, passion fruit, mango and pineapple. Order online in the app or in the cafe. You are now enjoying tropical time at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. As you know, I wasn’t live last night. Happens sometimes.
I have some family matters to take care of and won’t be back until about 730 or 745. I just don’t want to push it back to eight because that would be running into Big Brother. Yeah, so I just decided, I brought it up about two or three hours in advance, so that’s why I put it out there, but hopefully it will come back.
Unless something crazy happens, will definitely be back next Sunday night. We will have a guest. Take a look back at a lot of things happening in reality TV and pop culture. I don’t know who the guests are yet, but I think I have an idea, but we’ll see. but. It’s not often that I don’t do a YouTube livestream on a Sunday night.
But when I thought about it, once I finally canceled it, I was like, you know what, there’s not a whole lot going on in Bachelor Nation this week. Really? I mean, the Rachel Brian thing, I haven’t touched on it too much this week because there’s not a lot to add. We know the basics, Rachel and Brian are divorcing.
she asked the judge. Let her pay him 10,000 every month. He asked for $16,000 a month and the judge basically said $13. . He worked with this divorce coach.
I don’t think it’s a very good look. Divorce should almost always be private. You don’t want it to be done publicly. I don’t really know why he did it, but then again, I wasn’t watching. His first part was released on Saturday. I can’t imagine I’d watch it and be impressed by it. Like, oh, yeah, totally.
See why you posted this. I’m sure there’s some sort of communication here as to why he did what he did and posted it in three parts. Me, but again, I won’t put in my two cents. Because I haven’t watched it or read any reviews about it. So I think the whole idea of using three different Instagram posts to promote divorce on social media is a little extreme.
I know he did get called out by Astrid’s husband Kevin Winter. I understand why Kevin did what he did. Astrid is Rachel’s friend, so of course Kevin will side with his wife, who is also Rachel’s friend. I get it. But what he said was not wrong. Like, man, he doesn’t have to do this. Now, it would be easy for Kevin to tell Brian this in private.
Like Brian told him, this can be done in DM. You don’t need to point this out publicly. Again, it’s just, you’re going to side with whoever you like. If you like Rachel, you’ll think what Brian did was terrible. If you like Brian, you’ll think he has every right to speak his mind openly.
Only, once again, there was no victory. So I won’t put my two cents into this video. I personally think that if it were me, I would do the same. If I were to get divorced, I probably wouldn’t reveal it in three videos. Hey, I’m not going to spend any more time on this until we get more facts about what’s going on.
Maybe there will be a racial reaction to this. I’m sure there will be some kind of shadow thrown over him. I can’t imagine her being okay with this, Rachel thinks it’s a brilliant idea. We’ll just have to see what comes next. But like we said, when this first became public, things only got uglier.
There’s nothing fancy about this. I really don’t think about either side. It’s too bad that this happened in public. Unfortunately for episode three, tonight’s The Bachelorette, they’re still in Australia tonight. We got a strip date. What a surprise. The show will have men stripping down to their underwear.
Is there a season I need to use this to get bachelor data. We’ve been on The Bachelorette for how many seasons now, and on at least one date in every season, the guys strip down to their bikini briefs or underwear or whatever, ten seasons in a row now, and it’s like, come on Well, Joseph’s daughter is watching tonight’s episode.
You can’t do this. I just. They like to make men wear bikini briefs, or make them wear underwear, or make them wear no underwear. I’d love to know how many seasons in a row we had at least one date like this. I think. I mean, I’m probably exaggerating by 10, but I think it’s at least 5 less than I thought.
Can I remember every date in every season? No. Barbie’s date is kind of like having a date with a guy in bikini bottoms that day. correct. I thought they did. If it wasn’t that date, there might have been other dates, but yeah, they just loved having guys in their underwear.
We get to see that tonight, which is also the day virgin Sam Najad declares his love for Jean, which is so ridiculous. You know why? Because in the first episode, we don’t really see him talking to her. He obviously said that because the producers told him to, because Sam, you don’t love Jane.
seriously. Shut up. That’s ridiculous. Stop telling a girl you love her less than a week into filming three episodes and you haven’t even dated her yet. You will only make yourself look more and more ridiculous. Then we had a four-on-one game date, which was Austin, Aaron, Bryan, not Bryan.
I originally thought the dates would be Austin, Aaron, Jeremy, and Hakeem. Spencer then had a one-on-one chat and they took a helicopter ride to the Twelve Apostles tourist resort. Then they go somewhere for the night, they make out, and then they watch the fireworks show.
But it will continue tonight. I think after tonight, we’ll be able to shape those, you know, episodes four and five that come out over the next two weeks, because that’s where I actually knock out. Like, I don’t know who’s going home every episode. I only know who went home in two episodes.
We’ll see how many of them make it. Because for the longest time, I thought 11 people made it to New Zealand, but Spencer made it and the other 11 people appeared in future episodes. Screenshot of the season preview. This means I have to consider arriving in New Zealand at 12 o’clock, unless I totally missed something, but I do consider arriving in New Zealand at 12 o’clock.
Three people were eliminated tonight. This is the episode where Thomas Asano and Hakeem go home. And then there’s the whole Aaron Herb thing, which, you know, I talked about at the end of my column last week. The spoiler at the start of the season is that Aaron has to leave because the flight school calls him and says he needs to go back to Mobile, Alabama to attend flight school or he will miss out on this opportunity.
But the preview doesn’t sound like Aaron getting some kind of call. Leave the show. So maybe they were just moved, you know, maybe that’s what was going on behind the scenes. I know what’s going on but it looks like Aaron is being sent home because he talks too much crap about the other guys and Jen is sending them away because we clearly see him at the rose ceremony, Talking about others, these people are not here for a valid reason.
She said, you can’t just throw this at me and not name anyone. He said, no, I just don’t want to name any names. This would obviously get him sent home. So I was informed. It’s also true that he has to go to flight school, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be the reason they show him being eliminated tonight.
