The Daily Roundup you’re listening to is part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for watching this Friday. A great show for you as we head into the weekend. I’m going to go over yesterday’s interview with Clayton Eckert, another Prime Bachelorette hometown date that I finally posted yesterday.
Starting Wednesday night it was time to talk about fame. We did have a Big Brother come to both nights of their premiere. Oh boy, boy. Talk about a repeat of the first episode. Sheesh. There is also some news in the cases of Laura Owens and Clayton Eckerd. What you don’t see is that we’ll get to all this later.
This is a podcast brought to you by Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Tropical Smoothie Cafe believes you should enjoy a little vacation every day. Not just once a year. I want to thank everyone who has followed us. The live stream is going on and even though I pre-recorded it as soon as I posted it, it feels like a live stream.
So you can go in and comment while you’re watching. When it came online, it was 1 hour and 35 minutes, something like that. And then everyone who left a comment was so positive. Thank you. I’m really grateful for that. One negative comment someone made was the advertising that ran during it.
This is something I need to do because this is the first pre-recorded video I’ve recorded on YouTube since restarting YouTube. Everything else is, you know, my Sunday night life, or the live show I do on Wednesday night, reviewing Jen’s season one promo. It’s the first one that’s pre-recorded, so it has ads in it, but I don’t really know how it works.
One solution is to sign up for YouTube Premium. I mean, you’ll never see another ad while watching another YouTube video for the rest of your life. If you show up, if you sign up for YouTube Premium, because when I looked back at it and I didn’t see any ads, I realized, oh, yeah, that’s right. I have YouTube Premium.
So if you can’t afford $11 a month, or I guess maybe $12 a month, I think I’ll do it. Someone told me in the comments that there are ads said to be every seven minutes. I hope this is just an exaggeration. Oh my god, people get ads for that thing every seven minutes? An hour, an hour and a half, too much.
I will, I will do my best. I just don’t know how to control ads on YouTube yet, but I’ll ask Dave Neil or someone else who makes YouTube videos about it and I’ll get an answer and hopefully you can minimize it. Or I’ll run ads on those videos every Thursday. Weekly podcast.
I just don’t know how much, can you set it to a certain amount or can you set it to where you want the ads to be because as I said when I was watching the video I didn’t see any ads so I don’t Any idea if this is like interrupting me in the middle of a question or Clayton in the middle of an answer or if it’s knowing to insert it when there’s a pause, I’m not sure but I’ll figure it out. People who listen.
Just head to YouTube Reality. Steve, you’re about to see a video of episode 400. My weekly podcasts will not only appear in audio format on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, but also on YouTube on my YouTube page. You can chime in.
That’s the plan. Maybe sometimes it’s nine-thirty stuff, but. Most likely September 15th Eastern time. and then. Anyway, please hit the “Like” button and leave a comment. Every once in a while I’m able to chime in and respond to people who might have something to say, but I really appreciated the responses to yesterday’s podcast.
Even did some national runs with people. com quoted Clayton from the podcast and said it was from a reality podcast, so that was good to see. I appreciate that in people. Maybe other outlets are doing the same now, but I don’t think I’m exaggerating. Because you know, I listened to it cover to cover again, maybe the second time.
I really liked his answer and how open and honest he was about not only the Laura Owen situation, but the fact that he was a bachelor and how difficult it was for him and how difficult his relationship with Suzy was afterwards. , but, I know you will see a side of him that you haven’t seen yet.
I, he gave an answer in that interview that I don’t think he has given in the three years since he became The Bachelor. so. I always say this. I’ll keep saying it until the end. As long as I’ve had this podcast, everyone’s had a story. I thought Clayton’s was really interesting. I think you can see, in the way he edited it, that he took full responsibility for what he was doing, but he also said, hey, this is what was going through my head at the time.
That’s why I make these decisions. So check again. If you haven’t seen it yet, please check it out. Listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, or check it out yesterday on YouTube. I also added the fact, remember I told you on yesterday’s podcast, hey, I got an email about Joan having another hometown in Chicago because we know she was in Chicago on Tuesday with Pascal Ibuji A hometown.
Well, then I took a picture of her while walking along the Chicago River. Anyway, I just assumed it was Pascal. Because I was like, this is kind of weird. She had back-to-back hometown dates in the same city with the same guy, but that didn’t happen. We know how hometown dates work. It’s a hometown date, a trip the next day, a hometown date, a trip, a hometown date, a trip.
Well, she was in Chicago for a few days in a row, but then someone and that’s what happened. I was really lucky because someone knew Pascal and I sent them the photo and said. I thought it was weird that she had back-to-back dates with Pascal on Tuesday and Wednesday, and this guy was like, no, that’s not Pascal.
But I do know who that guy is, and I’m like, really? There was something about them, going back many years, but they recognized him immediately. I thought, oh, his name is Jordan Heller. He is 61 years old and lives in Chicago. The photos I posted on my Twitter and Instagram stories were of them on the Chicago Riverwalk on Wednesday.
Looking at Jordan’s LinkedIn, it’s pretty average, Senior Business Sales Executive, B2B Sales Strategist, attended University of Iowa. The Aqua Phoenix science community is where he currently works. I guess I don’t know what that is. That’s him, Jordan Heller. So the three guys we know have dates in our hometown on Sunday, which is Chalk Church in Wichita, Kansas, on Tuesday it’s with Pascal Eagleway, and on Wednesday it’s with Jordan Heller.
I don’t know if there is. The Bachelorette will give Joan her fourth hometown date. Gary only got three hometown dates, so maybe they’re done with hometown dates, and technically tonight, if she only got three hometown dates, tonight would be the rose ceremony. She’s going to take out one of these guys.
The last two will then head to where they are going. This should wrap up in about a week and we’ll see what happens next. But I think we can rule out one thing now. Does Marc Anderson have a hometown date? I don’t think he received it before Sunday and he wouldn’t have received it after Wednesday with Jordan Heller because yesterday someone sent me one of Anderson’s (son of Marc Andreessen) Screenshot of an Instagram story with Mark in it.
It’s obvious that he wouldn’t be on his son’s Instagram Story if he was still on the show. So it looks like he was eliminated before his hometown game. So Kelsey Anderson’s father is no longer a contender for the Bachelorette or Jones. So keep this in mind. Either those three, Pascal Chalk and Jordan, serve as her final three, or she has a fourth.
