Cyber Fighters, a side-scrolling action game with over 8 million players, is preparing for its upcoming web3 release on the Immutable zkEVM network.
As part of this shift, the game introduced a “Play to Airdrop” event that allows players to earn points toward future rewards.
The Immutable zkEVM integration is expected to allow current players to experience a seamless transition to the web3 version of the game.
What is a cyber warrior?
Cyber Fighters is a side-scrolling free-to-play game that combines elements of the action, role-playing and fighting genres. Set in a dystopian future where the city of Detroit has fallen into chaos following World War III, players can choose from six different hero classes, each with their own unique skills and fighting style. These include the Cyber Officer Swordsman, Thunder Punisher, and Queen Bee Archer Assassin, among others.
Players start their journey with a default hero and can unlock more powerful Hero NFTs by purchasing and opening Box NFTs on the market.
The game features multiple combat modes and a complex skill system, and players can collect resources to unlock and upgrade abilities. Heroes can also be accompanied by pets that assist in combat, but their attributes remain unchanged. In addition, players can craft and enhance equipment to further enhance their heroes’ power.
Cyber Fighters is a successful web2 game that is currently transitioning to web3, aiming to integrate blockchain technology to enhance the transparency and stability of the game economy. The game is available on iOS and Android devices and runs in free-to-play mode.
How to participate in the airdrop activity?
Although the full web3 version of Cyber Warriors has not yet been launched, players can start earning airdrop points by participating in the current version of the game. The airdrop feature can be activated via the in-game web3 button, which automatically creates a digital wallet for the player.
Points can be earned by collecting specific in-game items, completing daily tasks, and referring friends. These points are tracked on a leaderboard, and the top 500 players after the event are expected to receive prizes. The nature of these awards has not been disclosed.
While no specific date has been provided for the official launch of web3 or the distribution of airdrop rewards, more details are expected to be released in the future.
