Comic fans are in for a real treat at New York Comic Con this year. new typeJapan’s iconic monthly anime culture magazine is working with Crunchyroll News The special issue will only be available to visitors at New York Comic Con. Newtype magazine last launched an English version in February 2008, when it ceased publication after nearly six years.
This special issue will showcase new artwork from animated films Overlord: Holy Kingdom in front and Pharmacist’s Diary on the back. Overlord: Holy Kingdom Season 2 will premiere in North America on November 8 Pharmacist’s Diary The first season was announced after it ended in March 2024, with a premiere date of 2025.
The 16-page magazine will take an in-depth look at some of the most popular anime released so far in 2024, and feature exclusive art and interviews. This issue specifically includes the It’s Naoyuki,director Overlord: Holy Kingdom and Norihiro Naganuma,director Pharmacist’s Diary. Additionally, Ito will be giving away signed copies at the Overlord panel on October 19th.
