Crayola will bring back eight retired colors in a limited time, including dandelions that retired in 2017; Blizzard Blue, Magic Mint and Mulberry all retired in 2003; and Orange Red, Violet, Lemon Yellow and Raw that retired in 1990 Tan.
Victoria Lozano, Crayola’s chief marketing officer, said: “As the first in Crayola history, we are excited to bring back this beloved limited edition color collection that will provide children with more opportunities to make their imagination pay for. These eight colors will be provided in 8 calculated crayons, colored pencils and markers, so each artist can enjoy the revival. The colors will also appear in partnership with Crayola’s licensing partners, including Lee, Caboodles, S’Well, etc.
The official dates for these collaborations have not been announced yet. The crayon itself will be available at major retailers soon.
