Drafthouse Film releases new trailer for 4K re-release Corey Feldmancult classic movie Birthday. If you’ve never seen this movie it’s worth a watch, Feldman’s performance is brilliant and funny!
The film is directed by Eugenio Mirawhich has been described as “naughtyly thrilling and darkly funny.” The film is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The film was never actually released in the U.S., so Drafthouse will screen a 4K version this fall.
“All is not as it seems at the old Royal Fulton Hotel. Corey Feldman brilliantly portrays the career of Norman Forrester, who is finally about to Met my girlfriend’s family at her father’s lavish birthday party.
“But what was supposed to be a major step forward in their relationship didn’t quite go as planned; he wasn’t on the guest list, his girlfriend ignored him, and her father didn’t like him at all.
“Rejected and heartbroken, Norman leaves the party only to discover that something more sinister than his girlfriend’s family lurks in the seedy hotel’s churning bowels: an ancient evil that threatens to bring about the end of the world.”
The film was hailed by the director as a “movie miracle” Jordan Peele. This is one of those movies that after watching you wonder why Feldman didn’t stick with acting! He’s such a funny actor!
