Cool Cats expands beyond digital collectibles
The first chapter is available for free on Comic DAYS and Yanmaga, with new chapters released monthly, and physical copies will be available later this year in more than 2,500 bookstores and more than 70 online stores across Japan.
“We are very excited to bring the Cool Cats world to life through this comic series,” said Cool Cats founder Colin Egan (Clon). “Working with the talented Kana Yuma and the esteemed Kodansha team has created something truly special, and we can’t wait for fans to explore Sapphire Town and join the adventures of Blue Cat and friends.”
This comic is adapted from Clon’s original story and illustrated by Yuma Shana. The story takes place in a cafe called Milk Chug in Sapphire Town. The film tells the story of Blue Cat, an aspiring barista who, along with her friends Chugs, Joe and Ardie, interact with customers (including the character Kira).
