Colin Firth joins the cast of Guy Ritchie-created Prime Video’s new series Young Sherlock, which explores Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) The origins of the iconic detective. He will join previously announced cast members including Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Zine Tseng, Joseph Fiennes and Natasha McElhaugh En (Natascha McElhone) co-starred.
Written by Matthew Parkhill, the series is inspired by Andy Lane’s “Young Sherlock Holmes” book series, reimagining Sherlock Holmes as a 19-year-old. In this story, Sherlock, disgraced, vulgar, and vulgar, finds himself embroiled in a murder mystery at Oxford that threatens his freedom. Despite his lack of self-discipline, Sherlock (Finn Stephan) uncovers a global conspiracy that changes his life forever.
Faith will play Sir Bucephalus Hodge. Fiennes and McElhone will play Sherlock’s parents, with Tsang playing Princess Gurung Shou’an. Ritchie directs and serves as executive producer, with Park Hill also serving as executive producer and showrunner. Other executive producers include Simon Kelton, Ivan Atkinson, Simon Maxwell, Dana Gilbert, Colin Wilson and Mark Restegini. Harriet Creelman is co-executive producer, with physical production managed by Motive Pictures.
