In the mid to late 2000s, Washington, DC published a series of books The legend of the Dark Knight. The title that tells their heroic story was relatively timely unraveled by various creative teams. It starts with two JLA and JSA Classification series, but then spread to Superman and Batman A pair Confidential books. A story designed to inform the character of every aspect of histories. Fill in some details or reveal unknown secrets about the past. Or sometimes only a solid creative team tells them everything they want.
exist Superman Secret Books begin with the story of green rocks…
“I come to rest in the heart of these sweet and peaceful energies. ”
Superman – kryptonite go through Darwyn Cooke,,,,, Tim for sale,,,,, Dave Stewart,,,,, Richard Starksand Jared K. Fletcher It’s the first arc Superman Secret (Even after Part 5 in #5, there will be no other arcs between the conclusion chapters until Chapter 11). This is a story from the early stages of Superman’s career as he first met Kkyptonite while having a relationship with Lex Luthor’s Lois Lane and Antoganism.
The story begins with a casino opened in the Metropolitan and its owner, Tony Gallo, who apparently has a rough background in Las Vegas and potential criminal families. It is through this perspective that our investigation from Superman to Louis Gallo, the conflict with Luthor and how it involves the turning point of kryptonite coming to Earth. It’s nicely weaved with classic elements of Superman’s story, such as investigative news and Luthor’s attempts to test Superman and a little bit of science fiction. From a kyptonite perspective, Darwyn Cooke’s narrative seems to be compelling.
Tim Sale’s artwork is amazing here. I might be sure to say all about his entire career, even though his work on this story has a next level. While each chapter has beautiful sequences of shadows and light, instilling his darkness Batman The work here is largely non-existent. It reveals the beauty and simplicity of his boundary work and character composition. His sorrow on the farm, introspective Clark is a revelation. Although you will certainly be subject to the majesty of some iconic Superman shows.
The beautiful colors of Dave Stewart further enhance the art. There is an interesting diffusion between the solid color wash of the flashback and the bright primary colors of the main story. and Richard Starkings used to align with the letter style of the projects that sell their jobs. Here is the style Starkings started using sales Batman: Dark Victory With a few exceptions.
“For my friends and colleagues, I was just a farm boy in a big city trying to make my mark. ”
I’m not sure if Superman – kryptonite Cook, Sales, Stewart, Starks and Fletcher are still suitable anywhere in the current continuity. Hell, I’m not even sure if it’s really Canon when it comes out. But there is still a timeless quality. A weird mix of modern technology, old cars and clothing. Telling a humanized story of superhuman is not only because of a star rock that can weaken his power, but because he is an awkward, innocent person who just wants to do the right thing in his parents and the world as a whole.
Cook and Sales are alone and together, both storytelling are incredible. Deprive the layers of time and continuity and focus on what makes them unique. They did a great job with Superman here.
