This Halloween, Chipotle want to Seasoning It doesn’t just want to feed its customers; it also wants to clothe them.
The taco maker said in a statement Wednesday that it has teamed up with Spirit Halloween, the largest Halloween retailer in North America, to launch its first-ever costume line. The publicity stunt was inspired by viral clothing memes that both brands have capitalized on in recent years.
Starting September 6, customers can purchase an outfit that pays homage to some of Chipotle’s iconic (and non-iconic) items, including: napkins, forks, water glasses, burritos and to-go bags. Each bodysuit sells for $40 and is available in adult sizes S through XL.
The bodysuits or full-body suits will be available on the Spirit Halloween website and at select locations across the U.S., including Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York and Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Customers in Canada can purchase apparel online while supplies last.
