Ripley is facing the worst trouble of his career so far, with his license threatened by the Pavel incident, but it’s Sharon I feel bad for.
According to spoilers, she has to fire some people and also stop Archer and Lennox from killing each other.

Emergency room doctor must face suspension hearing due to Pavel’s condition
Although the audience knows Ripley is innocent, Pavel’s story is not over yet.
His explanation of Arthur might help reverse their schism, but it won’t do him much good since the rest of the world doesn’t know what’s really going on.
It would be foolish to keep the truth secret. I know Ripley wants to protect Scully, but is it worth losing his career?
Hopefully the story doesn’t drag on for an entire season, as it’s a dark point from what would have been a promising start to Alan Macdonald’s takeover as showrunner.
There is no word yet that Luke Mitchell will be leaving the Med, so threatening Ripley’s license is pointless drama; he will eventually return to duty regardless of the outcome.
Archer and Lennox face off again
Their rivalry comes at the worst possible time
While it’s not surprising that Archer and Lennox are clashing again, it only makes Sharon’s job more difficult.
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 spoilers are silent on the content of the conflict and the medical cases that will emerge this week. All we know so far is that they will clash again.
Archer is an old-school doctor. On top of that, he has a hard time accepting mentorship from women, especially women half his age.
He already expressed his disdain for Lennox in Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1, and I don’t think he’ll change his ways in Episode 2.
Still, hospitals have enough problems, with far more patients needing emergency care than doctors needing to help them. The last thing Gaffney needs is another argument for Sharon to step in during an already stressful time.

Photos tell a story even though we don’t know all the details
While Chicago Med doesn’t have any more concrete information on this week’s medical cases than Allen MacDonald has on the season, we can make some educated guesses from the photos.
Archer and Ripley appear to be treating an old man who is in critical condition. Archer stayed with him in the ambulance while Ripley treated him at the hospital.
Of course, if Ripley is suspended, he may have to transfer the patient to someone else on the case, something he’s unwilling to do.
If the patient has memory or trust issues and doesn’t want to work with anyone else, that’s doubly problematic!
According to the spoiler photos, Dr. Charles also works with several patients, though it’s unclear whether he’s working as a psychiatrist or in the emergency room to provide extra help to patients who need immediate medical attention.
Some of the photos show Charles with an older man, although he looks different from the man Archer and Ripley are photographing, and he’s also sitting by the bedside of a young woman.
Frost is ready to join the hospital, but can he?

John Frost is my favorite new character, but how does he officially join Gaffney when he’s being laid off?
Salons should be laying off employees, not hiring new ones. That’s a problem given the hospital’s staffing shortages and the expected influx of patients following Jackson’s closure.
But it is what it is. When she can’t afford to hire existing staff, she can’t hire new ones. This arc is a great social justice issue story that shows how difficult it is to provide appropriate care without enough money.
I’m also curious to see who Sharon will fire, and if we’ll lose anyone else critical to the story.
We’ve already lost Marcel and Zack, and I really don’t want a mass exodus.
Plus, we know Frost is part of the Chicago Med season 10 cast, so how will he fit in with all these cuts?
Could money be the real reason Zack was fired?
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 Spoilers Please Don’t Reveal Anything About Him
Zack’s firing doesn’t mean his story is over, but spoilers don’t mention him.
He might just leave, but I doubt he’ll file a wrongful termination lawsuit or somehow convince Salon to give him his job back.
I’m surprised she agreed to fire him. But given the need for layoffs, I have to wonder if she plans to let him go.
Only time will tell if Zack’s story is over. I hope it’s not because his firing was so shocking and seemed to come out of nowhere.
