Sadly, Dr. Marcel won’t be returning, but we do get two new doctors, and Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1 spoiler photos reveal that they were both heavily involved in the action during the premiere!
The two newcomers are:
- Sara Ramos as Dr. Caitlin Lennox
- Dr. John Frost (played by Darren Barnett)
Lennox is a new attending physician who plans to make some major changes to the emergency department, which will undoubtedly cause problems between her and Archer from the first episode, while Frost is a doctor with experience. Secret Pediatric Intern.
(Interestingly, both characters are played by actors with experience in family dramas, with Ramos playing Heidi Braverman on “Parenthood” and Barnett having a guest appearance on “This Is Us.” Young Jack Pearson!
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1 spoiler photos depict Frost with a young black girl who is likely the patient of his concern.
It’s unclear if she’s connected to the ship’s emergency that others are dealing with, or if there will be a second storyline.
However, since the emergency room will be filled with patients, he will likely be called away from the patient to help manage the emergency.
Meanwhile, Lenox will likely come up with various ideas on how to make the ED more efficient, which Archer will undoubtedly reject.
He is used to being the master of the family, and he will not be willing to take orders from someone younger than his own son!

Chicago Med season nine ended with eternal villain Pawel accusing Mitch Ripley of beating him.
This story could lead to two couples breaking up just for the sake of drama.
Charles was already out with Liliana after Pavel lobbied for his baseless accusations, and now Hannah won’t be happy with Mitch either.

Not that she necessarily believed Pavel’s accusations, but she didn’t like being kept in the dark.
Mitch may have thought his troubled friend Scully beat up Pavel and was trying to protect him, but that approach could cost him Hannah forever.
Meanwhile, an investigation will begin into what exactly happened. Hopefully there will be a dizzying plot twist to make this annoying story worth it!
Pavel and his crap fell out of favor a long time ago, so this should be the last time he takes up screen time.
Luckily, Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1 spoilers say viewers will learn the truth about what happened to Pavel by the end of the premiere, although it’s unclear if the characters will learn that as well.
Hopefully they will so we can get rid of this storyline and move on. I’m pretty pissed off about it, so I wouldn’t mind Charles and Liliana breaking up for good either.
Maggie’s skills as a charge nurse will be put to the test
McDonald promises Maggie will take her career in a new direction this season, and that will likely start with the premiere.

This situation may make her question her current role and why she has to put up with so much crap. She may also find that maintaining a relationship with Loren when he’s a trauma surgeon in training is harder than she thought.

Archer and his son may still be on the outs
Archer and Sean’s relationship has always been fragile, but it seemed to completely fall apart in the Chicago Med season 9 finale.
Sean, unhappy that Archer was more sympathetic to his patient’s relapse than to Sean’s struggle with addiction, stormed out.
There are no spoilers for Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1 about Archer and Sean’s relationship, so that story may have to wait until another time.
Since Archer has to oversee this major emergency for Gaffney, he may not have much time to deal with Sean, but he’s certainly thinking about this rift when he’s working with his patients.
