More than three years after launching a concept trailer for an animation project, Far from far-fetched,writer Dave Capdevielle and animator Ashley Nichols New Kickstarter is being launched to produce a full pilot for animated horror comedy.
Capdevielle and Nichols become friends while making animated series Hazbin Hotel. “We’ve successfully made a 2-minute proof of concept short animation verification and planned to fund the full pilot plot ourselves so we could create a show that is not limited by some suit expectations called Frank,” Nichols said. “If we don’t mess it up and people actually like it, we plan to fund the entire series to make the story we want to tell fully. Of course, that’s a little uncertain and risky, but it’s much better than Frank’s collaboration.
