The debut of furniture and mattresses, Arranger: A mind-bending character adventureIt finally launches on iOS and Android this week on Netflix, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC worldwide. I didn’t bother playing the demo, but having played the full version of the game on multiple platforms, I can safely say Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure It is a most advanced puzzle game, I recommend everyone to check it out. If you have an active Netflix subscription, Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure Instantly one of the best games on the service, the iOS version I played fell short in one area compared to the PC and Switch versions. I’ll tell you why I love Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure And the focus of this review is on the feelings of the Netflix version on Switch and Steam Deck.

Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure You play as Jemma, who moves around a grid, and also moves most objects and people in the same row or column as her. There are some exceptions, such as monsters with purple glow surrounding other objects, but you basically explore, solve puzzles, and even engage in combat (not directly) by moving around a grid around the world. Jemma can also loop around the edges of rows and columns, all of which play an important role in solving puzzles, progressing, and discovering more of the world—and yourself. Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure.

If you take the critical path and avoid exploring other paths, I don’t think it will take you more than four hours or so to complete Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure. I got stuck a few times and didn’t want to use the accessibility features until I replayed the game on another platform to see how the later areas looked and just wanted to speed things up. Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure There’s basically no filler, and even though I got stuck a few times, the rhythm felt perfect. You can definitely see the pedigree of the developers involved here and how it oozes elegance in so many ways.

Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure Very tolerant. The puzzles don’t punish you for your mistakes, and you can basically keep trying to find a solution to your current predicament just like Jemma. This could be trying to move a sword block onto a monster to clear the way, or placing any object on a switch to unlock a door or move forward. Although the cute logic grid-based puzzles will often have your head spinning, if you find yourself banging your head on something without success, there’s an assist mode that lets you skip some of the puzzles. Seeing how this was accomplished made me realize that basically all the bases of furniture and mattresses are covered Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure. This is a complete, accessible and amazing puzzle game for everyone.

Visually, Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure amazing. The art by David Hellman is incredible; Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure It left a lasting impression along the way. I would have thought a game with so much hand-drawn art would be locked to 16:9 or something, but the developers have made sure it looks and feels great on all devices. It supports 16:10 on the Steam Deck, ultrawide on the iPhone 15 Pro, and full screen on my iPad. I have no complaints about the visuals other than the fact that I can’t afford the art book Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure However.

Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure Progress syncing via a Netflix account is still supported on iPhone and iPad, but I was surprised by the lack of a proper high frame rate option. You might not think that’s important for a game like this, but having played it on Switch, it targets 60 fps and feels smooth across the board, and runs higher on the Steam Deck, iPhone and iPad versions Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure Sensitivity. It has a performance mode option, but it still doesn’t let you play games at 60 fps on the iPhone 15 Pro or my iPad Pro (2020). I hope this feature can be added in the future as the game will feel smoother even on the Switch. Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure On both iOS and Switch, touch controls and controllers work well.

On consoles and PC, the team is doing a fantastic job Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure on the switch. In addition to traditional controls, it also features good HD rumble and full touchscreen support. As I said above, I often found myself playing it on a handheld device using the touch controls, but using my 8BitDo Ultimate controller when docked. Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure It feels perfect on Switch, it’s great to see it pre-released on Steam Deck Verified, and it plays like a dream on Valve’s handheld console.

While the visuals are impressive, the audio design Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure This is another aspect of the game that I love. The sound effects are perfect and the music perfectly fits the various locations you explore as Jemma. The early score may look very good, but it shows its true greatness once you complete the open areas and leave town. Tomás Batista absolutely sealed the score Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure.

Arranger: A mind-bending character adventure It is a gorgeous and essential puzzle game. It’s amazing, has great puzzles, sounds great, and is fun to play. Now available on iPhone, iPad, Switch and Steam Deck, it joins Lorelai and Laser Eyes As my favorite puzzle game of 2024. I can’t wait to replay it on PS5 in the future.
